The Erasmus+ Youth Exchange project “For the Better: Sustainability” (Project No: 2024-3-HU01-KA152-YOU-000267485), coordinated by Fenntartható Ifjúságért Egyesület, brought together young people from different countries in Budapest, Hungary to create an international learning environment focused on sustainability.

The first day of the project began with orientation and team-building activities designed to help participants get to know one another and adapt to the project environment. Through educational games, interactive exercises, and group activities, young people strengthened their communication skills while building intercultural connections and fostering a spirit of cooperation. Participants were also introduced to the project framework, Erasmus+ opportunities, and the overall sustainability theme that would guide the week’s activities.

Throughout the day, participants attended informative sessions on Erasmus+ priorities and the Youthpass learning process, while engaging in group discussions and collaborative learning activities. These sessions helped establish a common understanding of the project’s core objectives: raising awareness about sustainability, promoting the protection of natural resources, and encouraging environmentally responsible lifestyles. As a result, the first day provided a strong foundation for active participation, intercultural learning, and meaningful engagement throughout the entire project.
